ROLE: Animation & Design CLIENT: Brave Berlin/Cincinnati Chamber
In 2019 I was asked to be a part of the biggest event to come to Cincinnati, BLINK. I was honored to be a part of this event and and it was one of the biggest highlights of my career. Being one of the 35 projection mapping artists for over a million people to watch in my home city was nothing like I had ever experienced. The building I was assigned was an originally a furniture store. While doing research, I discovered amazing newspaper ads for appliances from the 40s and 50s. I then paired those ads with bright noen colors that were inspired from the iconic "Tower Furniture" sign that is still on the building today.
BLINK is one of the largest light, art and projection mapping events in the nation. A free four-day event takes place in downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, spanning more than 30 city blocks and over the Ohio River.
